Composition: 1 G Solution Otica Mitex contains: · Miconazole nitrate............... 23 mg · Prednisolone acetate........... 5 mg · Polimixin B Sulphate......... 5500 IU Everything in a suspension with Benzilbenzoat Properties and Effectiveness: Miconazolul is a synthetic imidazole derived with pronounced antifungal effect and strong activity against Gram-positive bacteria. Polimixin B Sulphate is an antibiotic with bactericidal effect against Gram-negative bacteria. The action of Polimixin B sulphate has a synergistic effect when is used together with Miconazolul. Polimixin B sulfate increases cell permeability by linking it to the cell membrane. The combination exerts an increased activity against bacteria and fungi that are less susceptible to miconazole. Add Prednisolone to its anti-inflammatory properties. Benzilbenzoatul controls the ear and is recommended to treat areas with scabies Demodectica in dogs Indications: Mitex is indicated in external otitis caused by fungi, bacteria and parasites in dogs and cats. Dosage and Administration: · Shake the vial thoroughly before use. · Grasp the hair that surrounds or covers the lesions before application. External otitis: Apply 3-5 drops in the ear 2 times/day and gently massage to ensure equal distribution. Continue treatment without interruption for several days after the clinical signs have completely disappeared. In Chronic cases it may be necessary to continue treatment for 2 or 3 weeks. Great ear drops for my dog, she’s doing so much better now!

So far it seems to be working! My Yorkie is 20 years old and the vet kept giving her oral antibiotics, I told her that she needs ear drops but wouldn’t give her any! They wanted me to do thousands of dollars in tests!
