ROMBENDAZOL PLUS 2.5%, oral suspension, for cattle, sheep and goats.
Active substance: albendazole.
A quantity of 100 ml suspension contains 2.5 g albendazole.
Excipients: sodium carboxymethylcellulose, benzoic acid, Tween 80, ethyl alcohol and distilled water.
Indications
Rombendazole 2,5 % suspension is recommended for the control of the following parasitosis:
-Gastrointestinal nematodes produced by species: Haemonchus, Ostertagia, Trichostrongylus, Nematodirus, Cooperia, Chabertia, Bunostomum, Oesophagostomum, Capillaria, Trichocephalus, as well as by Ascaris ovis and Neoascaris vitulorum;
-Pulmonary strongilatoses produced by species: Dictyocaulus, Protostrongylus, Mullerius, Cysiocaulus, Neostrongylus, etc.;
-Cestodoses produced by species: Moniesia, Thysaniesia, Avitelin, localized as adults in the intestine.
-Muscle, visceral and serous cysticercosis, produced by species: Echinococcus granulosus, Taenia saginata, etc.
-Trematodoses produced by species: Fasciolla, Dicrocelium, Paramphistomum.
The prophylaxis program must include 4 administrations annually, respectively before the grazing, during the grazing period, in July and September and after the entry to the stall.
Contraindications
The administration of the suspension of Rombendazole 2,5 % in animals with hypersensitivity to one of the components of the product is contraindicated.
ADVERSE REACTS
In cattle, lambs and yeas in the case of massive infestations, especially with Ascaris ovis and Neoascaris vitulorum, by the death of parasites toxins are released that can produce nerve phenomena characterized by ataxia, today, adinamy, etc. If you notice any other side effects, talk to your veterinarian.

MODE OF ADMINISTRATION AND DOZES FOR EVERY SPECIES
Treatment is done orally, with a menzura (bottle), or with a syringe, in which the necessary amount of Rombendazole suspension 2,5 % well homogenized has been inserted in advance.
The dose is 3-5 ml suspension/l0 kg live weight, depending on the degree of infestation of the animal. It is recommended that treatment be repeated every 24 or 48 hours. Shake the vial before use.
