INDICATIONS: HELMIZOL A 2,5 - is recommended for the treatment of the following endoparasitosis in sheep, goats and cattle produced by:
- Gastrointestinal nematodes: Haemonchus spp., Ostertagia spp., Trichostrongylus spp., Strongyloides spp., Bunostomum spp., Cooperia spp., Nematodirus spp., Chabertia spp., Oesophagostomum spp., Toxocara spp.;
- Pulmonary nematodes: Dictyocaulus spp., Protostrongylius spp., Müllerius spp.
- Cestode: Moniezia spp.
- Adult trematode: Fasciola spp., Dicocoelium spp., Paramphistomum spp.

Composition:

Active substance:
Albendazole................................................ 2.5g
Excipients:
Benzoic acid................ 0.5g

Contraindications
Do not take it in case of hypersensitivity to the active substance or any of the excipients.

POSOLOGY FOR EVERY SPECIAL, CALE (WAYS) OF ADMINISTRATION AND MODE OF ADMINISTRATION
It is given orally using common devices, the recommended doses being the following (1 ml suspension corresponds to 25 mg albendazole):
Sheep and goats:
Administer 2 ml product/10 kg body weight, corresponding to 5 mg albendazole / 1 kg body weight. In the treatment of mature forms of trematodes as well as in the case of infestations with Protostrongylus spp., the recommended dose is 3 ml produced / 10 kg body weight, corresponding to 7.5 mg albendazole / 1 kg body weight.
Cattle:
It is administered 30 ml product / 100 kg body weight, corresponding to 7.5 mg albendazole / 1 kg body weight.
For the treatment of mature forms of trematodes as well as larval forms of Ostertagia spp., the dose is increased to 40 ml product / 100 kg body weight (10 mg albendazole / 1 kg body weight).
Repeating treatment is determined by the veterinarian according to the biological cycle of parasites.
To ensure the correct dose, body weight should be determined as accurately as possible.
The accuracy of the dosing device should be checked.
If the animals are treated collectively they should be grouped according to body weight to avoid underdosing and overdosing.

RECOMMENDATIONS ON CORRECT ADMINISTRATION
Shake the vial before use.

WAITING TIME
Meat and organs: - bovine animals – 10 days;
- sheep, goats – 7 days.
Milk: - bovine animals – 72 hours;
- sheep, goats – 60 hours.
