INDICATIONS To facilitate parturition, in case of primary and secondary reduction of contractions and to accelerate the expulsion phase during parturition. RECOMMENDATIONS CONCERNING CORRECT ADMINISTRATION The product may be administered .c – subcutaneously; i.m. – intramuscular or i.v. – intravenously. For intravenous administration, the product will be diluted with physiological serum or 5% glucose solution. In obstetric indications it can be administered slowly intravenously, intramuscularly or subcutaneously. It is recommended to repeat lower doses than taking a high dose. Intramuscular administration is recommended in sheep. Slow intravenous administration is used to remove residual milk and in case of placental retention. For intravenous administration of small doses, the product should be diluted in a greater amount of physiological serum.
